GLIMPSES

The following photos belong to the last batch of Bicol pictures that I was able to save.

The next batch will probably be taken when I go back to Bicol (and that's only days from now yippee!!!).

The following are pictures taken in Reyes Beach, one of the beaches that I regularly visited during the past few months before I finally left Bicol. It has survived the devastations brought by Reming but has not fully recovered yet, a simple beach with its own charm.

The sea is a bit muddy, with very fine soil instead of sand.

There are times when the waters are shallow and calm, but there are also instances when the waves are raging and the sea becomes challenging.

There are cottages and rooms for whole-day and overnight stays, or even just for a drinking spree with family and friends. There is even an area where one can enjoy videoke while drinking.

Fun, fun, fun! Aside from the water, the sand is also a good way to enjoy – building sand castles and even just creating footprints like the ones below… A good reason to feel the child in anyone once again.

And here, the flowers are also growing pretty well, together with many other plants.

And of course, the merging of the water and the earth has always been a mystery.

Hope to be here again one of these days.
